I totally agree -- there's nothing wrong with a little Easter bunny or other special occasion treats (as long as they stay treats and not everyday occurrences). I waited until two days before Easter to buy jellybeans and tiny chocolate bunnies for my family because my problem is if they're in the house I have a tendency to nibble. I should have left them in the car until right before I needed them -- out of sight out of mind prevents the nibbling.

I just bought the chocolate & peeps yesterday for the family. If I didn't have a 2 year old granddaughter living with me this year, I probably wouldn't have. Still, who doesn't love a little chocolate Easter bunny once a year?

Thanks. Kudos to you for learning to eat it in moderation. For so many people it's "see it and eat it" with no ability to stop until it's all gone. I find that many of my clients have success with getting rid of half of their portion right away -- an example might be buying a candy bar and giving away half or even tossing it into the trash before they start to eat it.

First time I've ever heard of just bunny ears. Clever and funny. I think -- if they're not gigantic bunny ears -- that it might be a great way to indulge without " I can't believe I ate the whole bunny" remorse!

Yummy article. You know there's a chocolate shop here that sells "just the bunny ears" as a treat. It got me thinking. What do you think about that? It may be a way to indulge without eating the whole bunny.
